- source. I write a lot of free software, and don't traditionally release
- source for it. I used to, but I was stung once doing that and so I
- stopped. I suppose it would be best, though, for freeware plugin
- authors to make the source available so we could make some sort of
- attempt to keep all the versions semi-compatible. I'm not sure it'll
- make any difference to people who use LW professionally - those folks
- are probably more likely to use commercial plug ins. But all us lowly
- hobbyist sorts are perhaps more likely to use a lot of freeware plugins.
